May the “blank page” of this year turn into a delightful symphony for you and your family!

Hmmm… what would I like to see happen this year?

I’d like to have my home filled with a happy loving family, who enjoy the time we share toghether,     who help each other with love and compassion,  and who calmly work together to solve any difficult situations.

I’d like to help other families build the same bonds in their family.

I’d like to see our community, our country, and our world do the same.

“I’d like to build the world a home, and furnish it with love,Grow apple trees and honey bees and snow white turtle doves.”    Obviously, this is not a new sentiment, but a good one nevertheless.

I believe in the power of love and acceptance of individuality,

I believe in the power of music to reach deep inside and free the spirit.

I believe that as parents, we want to share these awesome powers with our families,   but as we face the daily struggles, it is hard to harness these powers effectively, showing through a calm positive force that there are a million ways to help a child develop healthy attitudes and habits, and a lifelong love of learning.

Even for meand I TRY really hard, using the knowledge I have gained from many sources, including others whom I admire.  Day to day, it’s still a challenge.  But the more I learn, the more ideas I get, and the more I practice positive skills, it gets a little easier to fit it into the daily routine, and make a difference.   Well… Then the child changes, and I have to learn more.   But I love being a mom, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

I love facilitating Kindermusik experiences, because music is so well suited to reach the whole person.  And the opportunity opens so I can share what I learn with others, and I can see the huge difference it makes it the lives of children and their families.

I hope you can join me this year, as I set out on a journey to blend and share so many positive ideas and experiences into a harmonious celebration of life for my family…  and for families, like yours, who wish to fully enjoy the journey, as well as keep a solid eye on the destination.

Merry Melodies and a Happy New Year!
