Celebrate the beauty and music of the seasons with your family, during our FALL-Oh Me! Playdates, and throughout your days together.

  • Have a song you sing together on a blustery day,
  • explore the wonders of seasons through music and play.
  • Kick up your heels with a family dance,
  • Through falling leaves and drifting snow we will prance.

Bring your whole family to participate together.  Both parents, and even grandparents are welcome.    Dress up in seasonal wear, and let the photo session develop among loads of colorful decorations and props.

The music and activities are designed to bring out the best in all of us, young and old,  as we learn new ways to interact with each other through music, increasing our emotional connections to each other, and connecting with other families as a small community.  The more you get involved, the more you feel like part of our family as well !
Playdates are unique individual events

Sept. 8 – Hoedown Hootenanny

Dress up in your best farm wear and get ready to kick up your heels in our barnyard dance. Dulcimers and Guitars and Banjos, oh my!  Authentic old time music for an American Heritage cultural experience.
A HOOTENANNY, according to my favorite quote, is “a party, most generally one that is well,.. chock full of hoot, with just a little bit of nanny”.

Our indoor “adventure” has us starting at the barnyard, where hay bales, stuffed farm animals, and stringed instruments set the scene and invite exploration and animal pretend play… and photo opportunities !!!.

October 20 – Pumpkin Party

Explore different sizes of real pumpkins, and pumpkin alternatives to get a real feel for sizes and weights.  Ms. Debbie makes the reading of “The Biggest Pumpkin Ever” by Steven Kroll an interactive event.  We make instruments out of pumpkin seeds,  and musically “grow” a pumpkin garden.  Children enjoy lap bounce, finger plays and dances about pumpkins, jack-o-lanterns, scarecrows and more.  Nothing scary.   Crafts included.  Pumpkin wear and/or costumes are encouraged.  This is the 8th year I’ve been doing this, and it just keeps getting better every year !  I’ve got the stuff… but YOUR FAMILY is what brings it to life !

November 10 – Frolicsome Fall

“Autumn leaves are falling down, falling, falling, falling down.”  – literally, in our classes, child safe fabric leaves will be falling down, just ready for frolicsome play and delightful pictures.  We also celebrate many other icons that put the AWE in Autumn, including migrating birds, and Native American songs and instruments.  Enjoy the “Duck Dance” rhythms through drums and dance !   Take some fun props home with you to extend the fun.

Dec. 8 – Jingles & Gingerbread

Our December Playdate features fun new ways to celebrate the season with jingle bells and delicious smells, making Jingle Jangle music, and cooking up muffins (activity rhyme) and cookies (books), and, of course, dancing like Gingerbread Men.

January 12 – Winter Wonderland

“Cold winds blow, and bring us snow…”   Hahahaha  –  YES, even here in Central Florida!   It is our own brand of snow play that is not so cold, but still mounds of white delights. Explore the many of the ways you can enjoy the snow, and even make your own snow for extending the fun at home.   We dim the lights for a nighttime snowfall, then rise with the lights to make snow angels, shuffle around and engage in a variety of musical snow play,  Then the snow gets cleared by our active little zambonies, and we skate around on the ice to the “Skater’s Waltz”.    Follow the event on our FB Page, for more details, and to see the treasures revealed that you will take home.

We LOVE joining Ms Debbie and our friends with both our girls to celebrate the seasons in musical style!
